It will soon be remembrance day. So many of our soldiers have lost their lives in service of our country, leaving behind grieving families. An empty pair of slippers, a vacant seat, a smile on a photograph, countless memories which cut deeply within.
The following piece played at the International Composers Festival in Hastings this year, is a stark reminder of both those who died and those who were left behind. We shall never forget them

We shall never forget them, dedicated to the British Armed Forces, which opened the recital, proved especially impressive, as it was a model of concision, speaking directly to the heart, with a simple, yet emotive message.
