Inspiration for Vanguard trailer music

If you haven’t seen James Owen’s Vanguard trailer, you really ought to. I can’t give anything away about the plot, but suffices to say that James outlines extremes that people go to sometime. This brings me conveniently to the sources of my inspiration. In my case, Edvard Munch’s scream epitomizes horror, but where Munch expresses horror in his artful brushstrokes of an individual in anguish, I use a well known extended string technique, to express horror, as can be seen in the Vanguard trailer
