From the pen of Greg Anderson comes the exciting new Independent streaming series 2…..now part of a multiverse, Supra et Infra (Above and Below) comprising 4 stories
Grayson Newman awakens in an arid desert lake bed. Naked. No idea who he is, how or why he got there, where he was headed, or why he was left there alone. Around him: bottled water, some enigmatic trinkets, ill-fitting clothes. Artifacts of a life. His life? He couldn’t tell you.On his wrist, a tattoo-looking stamp: a iconic, unexplained “2”.
So opens our story.
The story of “2”.
Greg Anderson began his entertainment industry career in a management position at Norman Lear’s & Jerry Perenchio’s Embassy Communications; a position he held while completing his MFA in Motion Picture Producing from the prestigious Peter Stark Program at the University of Southern California.
Upon graduation from USC, Greg transitioned to a position at Warner Bros., where he worked as Director of Profit Participations, overseeing $140 million in annual profit disbursements to talents. From Warners, Greg transitioned to Universal Pictures where he served in a variety of business and creative roles, most notably as Director, Business Affairs Administration — the first non-attorney to hold such a position at Universal. In his stints at Embassy, Warners, and Universal, as well as subsequent consulting, Greg has contributed to over 220 titles, with revenues in excess of $4.7 billion. Additional substantive work included roles as a publishing executive (Acquisitions & Sr. Editor for Fiction and True Crime), college program chair (Cinema Studies), and consultant for motion picture production and publishing industries.
Creatively, Greg is a published novelist, produced playwright, optioned screenwriter, and an award-winning visual artist whose works and private installations routinely garner high praise and sales. For “2” — the first tale from the Supra Et Infra (SEI) Universe, an interwoven-story, multiverse — Greg has created a captivating genre blend of noir myth, grounded sci-fi and fantasy, and Western motifs; richly stocked with strong engaging characters in support of intersecting, ensemble storylines, all set against a vibrant, rugged, and evocative version of the U.S. Southwest Desert, in the fictional Desejo and White Dunes Counties, home to future dovetailed, varied-genre stories, The Singer, Desejo County, The Transfer, Essentia, White Dunes, The Last Stranger, and others.
Regarding my music, Greg says;
“Ash Madni’s advance soundtrack work on my series “2” never fails to enrich my understanding and envisioning of a scene. I know my material better and at deeper levels of theme and subtext when he delivers a new track in support of our story. True collaboration occurs not just from mutual work, but when a circular symbiosis manifests, with each participant’s own contributions growing, broadening, and successfully expanding, infused by the work of their collaborative partner. That is my experience when working with Ash.”
I have had the pleasure of collaborating with Greg for several years now. His unique combination of business knowledge, creative thinking and writing is a source of inspiration for me. And he does all that with humility, wit and charm.
Musically, the theme tune had to be Electronic so as to bring in ambient elements of location and interesting characters.
Here is the theme tune to “2”.
