Sun bakes the land. As it has for eons. Relentless. A desert floor chalky whites and faded browns. Rising heat burns away wisps of haze nestled against craggy mountains that surround.
The drift of sand. Moistened by the rain. Now dried. Cracked. Turns out it is only as high as… the BODY.
