Richard and Emily Hemming, children of Gordon Hemming—the multiform god Ra—ascend to godhood through fateful choices. Richard becomes Hemonra, lord of immortality, ruling Dooatra—a spectral realm nestled beneath a Saturn-like planet, its ivory towers orbited by drifting blue souls, and its obsidian spires encircled by taloned black wraiths called Umbrazars. As his followers accept eternal life, their bodies are claimed by the Umbrazars while their severed souls join a solemn procession around the towers of Dooatra. Yet in this haunted realm, wraiths and souls never touch—forever confined to separate paths, where no spirit dares mingle with clawed shadow. Emily rises as Manonra, goddess of compassion, healing the soul-body divide and transforming Umbrazars into remorseful grey beings who are granted sanctuary in Korabu—a haven of pink skies and towering waterfalls beneath the Messier 82 galaxy. When her pursuit of cosmic harmony sparks war against Hemonra’s dominion, her followers stand vastly outnumbered, their hope fading like starlight. And far away in Mandra—a realm mirroring Korabu near the Andromeda galaxy—Ra watches in silent detachment, letting destiny carve its path through the divine clash of his children, gods in their own right.
