Bristol Ensemble Piano trio

The Bristol Ensemble

Piano trio comprising; Roger Huckle on violin, Robyn Austin on cello and Christopher Northam on piano, performed my new piano trio works..

The evening began with the performance of my Lament “We shall never forget them”, which was played so beautifully I had to fight back my tears. This Lament was dedicated to the British Armed forces, past, present and future, as a tribute to all their sacrifice.
The lament was then followed by my Carnatic variations and then finally Journey to the court of Kublai Khan.
The Carnatic variations were performed extremely well. The string parts as well as the piano parts were demanding to the point of nearly impossible. Yet the players performed all the pieces beyond my expectations. Thank you Roger, Robyn and Christopher. I sincerly hope we can record these works and look forward to working with you again!!
Many thanks to Simon Ible and team for organising and hosting the concert.
